It's the day of Christmas Eve and I'm taking a break from cleaning/decorating the house for company. I love Christmas more than any other holiday cause I get to see all my family and I have a week + a few extra days off from school. I'm so excited for tonight. I love Christmas Eve and I don't think I'll be able to sleep, even now as a legal adult it's hard to fall asleep with all the excitement for tomorrow.

But this day is more important and exciting than just all that. The other reason this wonderful day is my favorite is cause it's the official anniversary since I came home. My parents brought me home from Illinois on this exact day, 18 years ago. And since 18 is such a big, important milestone in our lives, I thought I'd write an entry about it. The anniversary of my birth was a little less than one month ago and today is the anniversary of my homecomming.

On this note, I want to thank all my wonderful friends whom, had some other family taken me in, I would have never met. I am thankful for and to my wonderful parents who adopted me into their family and gave me such a wonderful home. And I'm thankful for my friends who have supported me through everything and more like my extended family than friends at this point. I love you guys and may you all have a Merry Christmas.
